I. GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA
1. Scope of processing
In principle, we process the personal data of visitors and users of our website only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. We process the personal data of our users on a regular basis exclusively with their consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.
2. Legal basis
The processing of your data is based either on your consent or, in case the processing of your data is necessary to perform a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps prior to entering into a contract, or based on legitimate interest, see GDPR art. 6(1)(a)-(b), (f).
If the processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
3. Storage and deletion of your data
In principle, we only store your data for the time necessary to fulfill the contractual or legal obligations for which they have been collected. After that, we delete the data immediately, unless we still need the data until the expiration of the statutory limitations period for use as evidence in case of complaints under civil law or due to statutory retention obligations.
We delete or block the data subject's personal data as soon as the purpose of storage is fulfilled. They may also be stored if this is provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or regulations to which our company is subject (see details in sections 3.1-3.3). Data is also blocked or deleted upon expiration of a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned regulations, unless additional storage is necessary for the termination or fulfillment of a contract.
3.1. Data retention policy
Due to tax regulations, account data will be retained for up to five full fiscal years after termination of your COMPANY account.
Configuration data and system-generated data will be deleted immediately after you terminate your COMPANY account
End-user data will be deleted on a rolling basis 12 months after registration, and immediately upon cancellation of your COMPANY account.
3.2 Data Retention to Comply with Legal Requirements
You may not need THE COMPANY to change any of your default retention periods, except for the reasons for deletion in accordance with clause 3.3, but you may suggest changes to comply with laws and regulations specific to your industry.
3.3 Restitution and/or deletion of data
No data except account data will be retained after the end of the agreement. You may request a copy of your data prior to termination.
II. WEB SITE ARRANGEMENTS AND CREATION OF LOG FILES
1. Scope of data processing
THE COMPANY processes personal data only if it is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The processing of your personal data is regularly done only with consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for obvious reasons and the processing is permitted by law.
Any information we collect from you may be used for one or more of the following purposes:
1.1. To personalize your experience (the information will help THE COMPANY better respond to your individual needs);
1.2. To improve our website (THE COMPANY constantly strives to improve the website opportunities based on the information and feedback we receive from our customers);
1.3. To establish a primary contact channel with you;
1.4. To allow you to scan trackers on your website; 1.5;
1.5. To allow you to talk to an expert.
2. Data processed
2.1 Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the communicating computer. This may include information such as the following:
- Information about the type and version of your Internet browser,
- The operating system of your computer or smartphone,
- Your Internet service provider,
- Your IP address,
- Date and time of access,
- Geographic location,
- Websites you came from,
- Web sites you visit from our Web site.
We collect such information in so-called “log files”, so that our website can be displayed correctly and we can identify the causes of any technical problems, for the technical optimization of our websites and to protect our computer systems and networks. For such purposes, the legal basis is the legitimate interest in processing the data according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected. As a rule, this technical information will be deleted or rendered unrecognizable after seven days at the latest.
The collection of data for the layout of the website and the storage of the data in log files is essential for the operation of the website.
2.2 Each time you use our service to scan your website, your email address will be processed and cookie definitions will be found when the service has scanned your website(s), including reports of the result of each scan.
IV. CONTACT REQUESTS TO RECEIVE PRODUCT INFORMATION, A DEMONSTRATION OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF INQUIRY
Description and scope of data processing
On our website you can contact us through various options: e.g., booking a demo, requesting a quote, requesting product information, requesting guides, submitting the contact form, support tickets and our chat function. If you use these options, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and saved. In addition to the input-specific macro data, the IP address and the date and time of the request are collected and stored.
Alternatively, you can contact us by e-mail. In that case, the user's personal data transmitted by e-mail will be stored.
In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties, unless this is necessary for the processing of the inquiry (e.g. the tool for booking a demo). In any case, the data will be used exclusively for the processing of the conversation.
2. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for data processing in the presence of user consent is Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
3. Purpose of data processing
The processing of personal data from the input mask is carried out solely for the purpose of processing your request.
4. Duration of storage
If you have booked a demonstration, requested product information or an offer, we reserve the right to store the data for two years in order to measure the profitability of our sales and marketing. Otherwise, we will delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data entered in the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this is done when the respective conversation ends. The conversation is terminated when the circumstances make it clear that the relevant facts have been clarified.
5. Withdrawal of consent and possibility of deletion
You have the possibility to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If you contact us by e-mail, you can object to the storage of your personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot continue and all personal data stored in the course of the contact will be deleted.
